The hackathon competition was conducted in Kano on the 24th to 27th of September 2018, at Chilla Luxury Suites. There were a total number of 34 participants with 23 Competitors and 4 Juries, 4 facilitators 5 staff from EAI. 3 of the competitors were female while 20 were male. The participants came from all over Northern Nigerian states such as Kano, Plateau, Katsina, Borno, Gombe, Bauchi, Yobe, Taraba, Adamawa, Nasarawa,FCT Abuja, Kaduna, Zamfara and Niger states.

The objective of hackathon competition was to enhance their capacity to developing an Application that will Counter Violent Extremism, community leadership as well as train them to become effective influencers and messengers in their various communities. Below are some photos from the even
